                                                                         Harriet Tubman

"I freed thousands of slaves. I could have freed thousands more, if they had known they were slaves."

Harriet Tubman is one of those out standing people who served for justice and freed herself but not only did she free herself she went back multiple times and helped other slaves to escape enslavement.
The reason why i picked this particular person is because shes is one tough, determined, and positive.
Harriet Tubman was responsible for the emancipation of thousands of Africans enslaved by the racist capitalist slave owners in the United States. Her actions inspired thousands more to fight for and achieve freedom.

Harriet Tubman created the underground railroad. She saved hundreds of slaves from abuse. She made thirteen missions to and from the south to free slaves. The Underground railroad was a network of safe houses with some underground tunnels, where people were safe. Harriet Tubman became a spy for the Federal Forces Of South Carolina, during the American Civil War. After she retired, later on she became a nurse. Later she travled to Philadelphia, and rescued her family. She was basically a hero and people admired her for he bravery.

1. Emotional Appeal~  Harriet Tubman was fighting for freedom for the enslaved this is emotional appeal because she expressed love, hate, fear.

2. Logical Appeal~   Harriet wanted freedom for all enslaved men, women and childeren she thought it wasnt right, why should you let the white man over rule the black african american and make there life up for them.

3.Ethical Appeal~ I grew up like a neglected weed - ignorant of liberty, having no experience of it. I would fight for my liberty so long as my strength lasted, and if the time came for me to go, the Lord would let them take me.
